Nobel of Geography
'Vautrin Lud Prize' is known as 'Nobel of Geography'. This is the highest award in the field of Geography. The award is named on the name of French Scholar Vautrin Lud, who was one of the great scholar, traveller and discoverer in the field of Geography . It was first announced in 1991 and from that time each year in autumn at the time of International Geography Festival in France the award is distributed.
Petter Haggett was the first one who received this award in 1991. Till 2019, 28 scholars awarded where John A Agnew was last recipient who received this award in 2019.
